Well it has been a funny old week. A week of walking Saffy, writing my daily 4000 words and thinking about the past. Bach and Chopin played as I travelled back. When you are writing about others lives you find yourself delving back into your own life. Loved ones who are no longer with us. People we miss and always will. Like the people in my stories I too feel the struggles and the loss. But that is my life. It is their lives. And it is of course your life. We all have those memories that trigger those emotions. That is what living is. It is about learning from our past, and from other’s experiences.
I am blessed that I have met such interesting people, who have shown me kindness and compassion. I once thought life was just about survival. I now realise it is about being kind to others. Sharing a nice word, and trying to make a difference in the world.
